Photograph article dated May 5, 1962 partially reads, "A Valley chiropractor, Dr. David Rosen of Van Nuys, hopes his opening of the Peppermint Stick, teenage nightclub at 15463 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, 'will help combat juvenile delinquency by providing teenagers and young adults with a healthy and entertaining environment.'" Photograph shows teenagers and young adults twisting to music of the Moongooners, a 5-piece dance combo.; See images #00131787 through #00131796 for all photos in this series.
