Officer Peters looks over damage after a homemade bomb ripped the doors and windows out of the print shop and journalism building at Roosevelt High School. Police said the device was a strong explosive but did little damage because it was poorly planted. Evening classes were in session when the bomb exploded, but no one was reported injured.
