Photograph of a building at the Department of Public Works refuse collection yard, [s.d.]. At center, a two-story building is pictured, a truck emerging from the garage at left. To the right, a second automobile is parked along the wall of the building, facing away from the viewer. The collection yard was used for the transfer of noncombustible rubbish from city collection trucks to large semi-trailer operated haulting contractor.
