The window display was for the Hoover Company vacuum cleaners. The photograph was taken at South Brand Blvd. in Glendale. This photograph, along with others for the Kroehler and Bigelow brands, were ordered by Life magazine at 900 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles.
