Photograph caption dated May 4, 1957 reads, "Competitors shown here and 135 others open play tomorrow in the Lankershim Little League, Burbank boulevard at Colfax, paraded onto the field at 1 o'clock by the North Hollywood High School ROTC drill team. John (Sheriff of Cochise) Bromfield will emcee, aided by 'deputy' Stan Jones. Rams football star, Elroy (Crazy Legs) Hirsch, will also participate. From left, Richard Hamlin, Bob McGuigan, Hirsch, Skeeter Fazio, Bill Noble and Jim Paine. All the players are team captains."
