Description
A small tract map, probably late 1800's. John Gately Downey, after whom the town is named, did not arrive in Southern California until 1849, hence the date. Long Beach Avenue is today's Lakewood Blvd. This area is near the southeast corner of Lakewood and Firestone Blvds. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: no. Projection: Plane. Printing Process: Lithography.
