Photograph of a wooden bridge crossing over the Arroyo Seco at Avenue 52 prior to installation of the storm channel, ca.1936. At center, a narrow bridge is shown moving from left to right, three triangular protusions extending from each edge of the bridge at right. A hill is visible in the right background, while telephone poles can be seen to the left. The bridge was replaced in 1937 with a reinforced concrete bridge that was destroyed in the flood of March 3rd, 1938.
