Description
"Squatters huts - before Government took control to ensure that lanes were running through them to take fire hosepipe in the case of emergency." Hong Kong. Squatter housing grew up in Hong Kong to accommodate the large number of refugees fleeing from China. The Methodist Missionary Society worked with the Hong Kong government and other aid agencies to provide better quality, fire proof housing for the refugees.
