Title supplied by cataloger.; Center of image is highlighted with colored cellophane. Photograph caption reads, "Six thousand Armenian-Americans marched yesterday from Hollywood to Los Angeles City College on the 67th anniversary of what they call the 'Armenian Genocide' at the hands of the Turks during World War I. A mounted police officer keeps an eye on the crowd crossing Sunset Boulevard en route to the college. Speakers vowed to force the Turks into acknowledging the massacre, which consistently has been denied by the current Turkish government. One speaker assured the cheering crowd, 'We are going to reach our goal if the sun stops shining and the roads turn to blood and hell.'" Photograph dated April 25, 1982.
