Postmarked March 22, 1912 from San Jose, to Mrs. Geo. A. Vogt, 122 Rivoli Ave., San Francisco. "3/21/12. Rec'd yours this noon. Enid & I had intended coming to see you next Sunday to bring your fern it's starting up now, Julia transplanted it. The last thing Ella's daughter said was you need not get so scared -- there's nothing the matter with me, so she could not have been in great pain. Enid & I will leave here 8 a.m. Sunday and arrive at 3rd & Townsend at 9-25. Didn't go to hear the singer this week I was too slow. Trust Alice's cold is well [illeg.] this. Sincerely Lucy."
