Description
Black and white lantern slide picturing a boy priest in robes holding a metal bell in one hand, a metal sceptre in his other hand and resting a small bowl on his knee. The boy is sitting cross-legged in what seems to be the entrance to a building. The boy is probably a Hindu rather than a Buddhist priest. This slide comes from a collection created by missionaries from Regions Beyond Missionary Union, an interdenominational Protestant evangelical mission working in northeast India (Bihar and Orissa) and Nepal.
