Photograph article dated February 6, 1964 partially reads, "One of the largest art mosaics in the world is nearing completion at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park, Hollywood Hills. Called "The Birth of Liberty," the 162-foot-high mosaic contains an estimated 5 million pieces of Venetian tile. The mosaic is one of two central features in the Court of Liberty. The other is a 15-foot-high, 7,500-pound bronze statue of George Washington atop a 32-foot-high marble pedestal. The statue was put into place Monday."
