Photograph caption dated April 10, 1961 reads, "Panorama City Rotary Club President Jack Bennett, left, hands symbolically large check to incoming president Ted Nielsen and his wife, Gloria, who will travel to the Rotary International Convention in Tokyo May 20. The Rotarians presented $1,000 to the couple to defray expenses on their three-week trip. The Nielsens plan to stop in Hong Kong also. Nielsen, an accountant with offices in Panorama City, will take office July 1."
