Description
Photograph of a view of residential Fresno looking north, ca.1910. The flat roof of a building can be seen surrounded by a copse to trees slightly to the right of center. A narrow paved road cuts across the image diagonally from the right foreground to the left distance, where the bell tower and chapel roof of a church can be seen. To the right of the street, residential houses fill the city blocks, interspersed with trees. A larger, more institutional-looking building can be seen on the block to the far right. On the corner at center, a sign on a one-story buidling reads "Wakefield & Walton -- Groceries" and "Low Rates East. Southern Pacific".
