Photograph caption dated June 10, 1961 reads, "It's International Reptile Exposition time at Devonshire Downs, 18000 Devonshire, Northridge, and attracted to reptile charm are cobra milkers, tots and beauty with a flair for snakes. William E. Haast, first photo, demonstrates how to make an Indian cobra give up its precious venom. One drop of the lethal liquid could kill a man, Haast explains, as he calmly sets about milking six drops from the reptile. But it's not close contact with reptiles for 8-month-old Robert E. Bailey Jr., 6636 Greenbush Ave., Van Nuys. Robert, with parental protection, center photo, and a Gila monster view each other with the help of glass plate between them. Beauty gets a squeeze from a Central American boa constrictor, last photo, as pretty Bonnie Brady, 20, show hostess for the exposition, coddles the pressure-killing reptile."; See images #00113397 through #00113399 for all photos in this series.
