Description
This circa 1928 postcard reveals downtown Sacramento, as captured from the State Capitol dome. To the far left is the steeple of the First Baptist Church at Ninth and M streets. To the right of that is California State Office Building Number One. In the center of image, and on the north side of L Street is the Fox Senator Theater. The white-colored building to the far right of the image is the Hotel Sacramento, situated at the southeast corner of Tenth and K streets. Looming above that - at the corner of Tenth and J Streets - is the California Western State Life Insurance Building.
