International News Photo | slug (elections) | Voting in Hitler's plebiscite -- on world's largest airship | Friedrichschaffen, Germany -- With ballots in their hands, the passengers and crew of the world's largest airship, the zeppelin "Hindenburg" are casting their votes aboard the sky queen just before it sailed in its maiden voyage to South America. The plebiscite was ordered by Hitler to find out if he had the people's backing on his recent Rhineland move. According to the ballot the people were with him almost 100 per cent.
