Description
Kashnor notes map as by Homann, dates as ca. 1740. Based on a map from Herman Moll's Atlas, this was one of four maps on a sheet entitled "Dominia Anglorum in America Septentrionali specialibus mappis Londini primum a Mollio edita nunc recusa ab Homannias Hered." MS note: 826 (on backing). Prime meridian: Ferro. Relief: pictorial. Graphic Scale: Miles. Projection: Cylindrical. Watermark: partial. Printing Process: Copper engraving. Verso Text: MS note: 826.
