Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated July 3, 1962 partially reads, "Christmas came to Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital on a warm sunny summer weekend. No Santa Claus, no reindeers appeared out of the blue. Instead, some 35 members of the Sciots, a Masonic order, trekked to the hospital Saturday to throw their annual Fourth of July Christmas Party for Handicapped Children. The annual calendar-switching party is the brainstorm of Doug Crockett, past leader of the North Hollywood pyramid of the organization."
