Description
A group of men gather to watch a fire with black smoke pouring into the air at "Bung Island". It was so called because of its barreling activity. Bung Island was located near the beach endings of Fir and Ash streets, near the head of the Ventura Wharf. Union Oil Company tanks were located there later.
