Molten glass seeped through four floors to giant furnace of Thatcher Glass Co., in Newhall. Dr. Roy Arrandale, left, vice president of the firm, and Roger Faught, engineering specialist estimated the damage at $10 million. Photo dated: February 11, 1971.
