Description
Photograph of a concrete retaining wall on Sepulveda Boulevard north of Beverly Boulevard, 1900. The concrete wall curves along the right side from the foreground to the hills in the distance. It stands at the bottom of a man-made trench while the road lies above on the left side. Electrical piles line the right side of the road while the left side is occupied by a rock wall. Construction equipment is still set up along the road including large trucks in the background. The wall stands along the east side of Sepulveda Boulevard as a protection against erosion.
