Buses will transport the guests from Fashion Square parking lot to the Carriage House Restaurant at 6 p.m. Saturday. Meeting for the event are, above, Mrs. L. Dean Petty, chairman; left; Mrs. Amelia Justice, Gernard Loken, driver, and Mrs. Madill Gartiser. A steak dinner will be served, then on to the Bowl to hear John Green conduct his new presentation of 'Encores of Bernstein, Weill, Romberg and Kern.' Heard for the first time will be Green's arrangements of Kern's 'Showboat,' 'Roberta' and 'Swingtime'; Romberg's 'The Desert Song' and 'Up in Central Park'; Weill's 'Knickerbocker Holiday' and 'Lady in the Dark,' and Bernstein's 'Candide' and 'West Side Story.' Featured soloists will be Jean Fenn, Carl Olsen and Richard Fredricks and the Roger Wagner Chorale. Other committee members are Mmes. Henry Cataldo, James A. Swift, James Hodgson, Alfred Libby, Henry Van Dalfsen, Harlan A. Gurney, and Carroll Willoughby."
