Description
Photograph caption dated April 7, 1951 reads, "The lavish home of Veronica Lake and her director-husband, Andre De Toth, at 11000 Winnetka Road, Chatsworth, above, was seized by Collector of Internal Revenue Robert A. Riddell, for unpaid income taxes. Riddell said the pair owed $62,000 in taxes and interest on their incomes for 1946, 1947, and 1948."
