Photograph article dated May 12, 1950 partially reads, "'I a 26 years old and an out-patient of Birmingham Hospital. It would be impossible for me to take out-patient treatment at Long Beach. I take treatments at Birmingham in the mornings and go to metal school in the afternoon. I would have to quit metal school to have time to take treatment at Long Beach. I also own a home at 6442 Dempsey Ave., in Van Nuys, which would be a loss if I sold it.'" Note: Pictured is veteran, Myron L. Lapka.
