Description: Big Creek Powerhouse #1 arose at the junction of Pitman Creek and Big Creek, on exactly the site proposed by John Eastwood a decade earlier. By April 1913 work was well under way. This view looks west down Big Creek Canyon, with the town of Cascada (Big Creek) just out of the picture at the right.
