Description
Kirk Russell discusses his book, “Night Game.” He begins by explaining that this is the second book in his John Marquez Crime Novel series. Russell shares that in this book the main character, John Marquez, works for a Special Operations Unit for the California Fish and Game Department. Marquez goes undercover in the Sierras to discover the source of bear parts farming, an illegal business made popular by Chinese medicine practitioners needing bear bile. Russell goes on to discuss the title of the book and his extensive research into the world of poaching and the Fish and Game Department. Later in this interview, Russell shares some ideas he has for new books and specifically for the John Marquez series.
