Photograph of a Ferrel Hydraulic Metal Forming Press, ca.1930. A man in coveralls stands left of a large metal machine, which sits between two stone walls, apparently in a sublevel of the plant, given that one can see the walls and windows of a higher level in the background. Photoprint reads: "Fig. 1 -- Farrel Hydraulic Metal Forming Press built for blanking and forming Drualumin Aircraft parts. Moving-down type with self-contained oil power unit mounted on top of the press. 2,000-tons capacity, one 38'' and two 20'' diamater rams, 2,300 lbs. working pressure, two 10'' diameter push back rams, 60'' opening, 36'' maximum stroke, platen area 136'' x 96'' with provision for future extension to make platen area 184'' x 96''" as well as "Edith Glastie, 211 Milford Street, Glendale, California.
