Photograph was edited for publication purposes Jan Clayton was born on August 26, 1917. She was a film, theater, and television actress, appearing in a few films and often on stage. She starred in the television series "Lassie" from 1954-1957. Later in life she appeared on many television programs. Clayton died on August 28, 1983.
