Description
Reply to an earlier letter from BH, with apologies for the delay caused by the "busy and exciting" weeks and months following the orbital flight, decisions concerning their new home, and "keeping my family 'going.'" She expresses pride in the record album, emotion when Scott Carpenter says "God speed John Glenn," and compliments BH on his "beautiful" music, adding they "enjoy playing it over and over." The stationery's NASA letterhead identifies John H. Glenn, Jr. as a Mercury Astronaut and includes a drawing of the Friendship 7 capsule. Accompanied by the envelope.
