Description
A mattress flops over the wreckage that litters the entrance to Joe's Shine, a shoeshine stand in a poor neighborhood that was wrecked by a car. Signs advertising Mission Orange drink and "La Primavera Zapateria" are still attached to the leaning roof. Photo dated: Dec. 19, 1949.
