Photograph of a ship about to dock at the pier at the Los Angeles Harbor, San Pedro, 1913. The ship has about four surface level decks, two large exhaust pipes flanked by two tall masts, and a flag standing at the bow and aft of the ship. Rock formations form a line or boundary in the water. "Harrison Direct Line" is painted on the roof of a building situated along the harbor (at right).
