Description
Beginning in 1976, the San Geronimo Valley Library Branch, a joint school and public library, served the largely rural population living in the Lagunitas Valley. The library, pictured here, circa 1999, was located on the Lagunitas School District's campus, off of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Due to budget cuts, the branch closed on June 25, 2009. The San Geronimo Valley is currently serviced by the Fairfax branch and the bookmobile.
