Description
Letter of correspondence to Charles Handy from Sir Alex Smith congratulating Handy on his name being included in the Honours List. Although Smith is delighted to see Handy's name listed, he expresses surprise that Handy is being recognized for "services to personnel management." He proceeds to reveal how much he enjoyed Handy's interview on radio with Michael Buerk, and closes the letter stating that Handy's recognition is richly deserved.
