Photograph article dated December 30, 1964 reads, "Disneyland will greet its 'Tencennial' Year with a New Year's Party billed as 'the biggest and happiest in the nation.' A Disneyland spokesman said 18,000 persons are expected to attend the party from 8 p.m. tomorrow to 2 a.m. New Year's morning. Ten thousand balloons will be released from Sleeping Beauty's Castle as a salute to the New Year. Advance tickets for the party are on sale at all Wallichs Music City stores, Desmond's stores and the Disneyland box office. The $7.50 price per person includes unlimited use of of [sic] all Disneyland Adventures, (except shooting galleries)." Photograph caption reads, "Big party - Dancing to the music of the Elliott Brothers Orchestra and 13 other dance bands and musical groups will be offered at Disneyland during its New Year's Party."
