Description
Connie and Kate begin the interview discussing the setting of the novel in Los Angeles, and how the book is a reclamation of Kate’s childhood. They proceed to talk about how the book is specifically from a child’s perspective in mid twentieth century Los Angeles, and how it communicates a specifically female artist’s perspective. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
