Description
"Wamusamba Simukoko, eingeb. Prediger aus Mbozi in Reisetracht." ("Wamusamba Simukoko, African preacher from Mbozi wearing travel clothes.") Wamusamba is wearing dark clothes, a dark hat and boots. He is holding a stick in his left hand. In the background: thatched huts.
Wamusamba was ordained on 19th of May, 1935 in Mbozi. A few days after his ordination, his wife died from pneumonia. He had seven children. -- Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
