Photograph of an exterior view of Ellen Browning Scripps Hall at Scripps College in Claremont, October 1935. The Mission-style building is at center, with a covered walkway at left and a two-story tower at right. The walls are light-colored, and the roof is covered with terracotta tiles. Ivy can be seen growing on the walls and roof at center, while a number of large potted plants can be seen along a brick walkway in the foreground. This building was the third residence hall built at Scripps College.
