Photograph of a view of San Pedro Harbor, showing a steam locamotive at right, [s.d.]. Small trains of railroad cars are pictured on the fork of tracks in the right foreground, a track visible running over a small trestle to the left. In the background, stacks of lumber are visible loaded in front of a four-masted schooner, which is only partially visible behind the wharf. Three other sailing ships are visible in the background docked along the opposite side of the channel. Behind them in the far distance, a long, narrow wharf can be seen. The back of the photoprint reads "W. Symons", while writing on the bottom left edge of the image reads "H.W. Scott". Writing along the side of the freight cars reads "Ilinois Central Railroad", and "San Antonio Arkansas Pass Mission Route".
