Photograph caption dated May 3, 1961 partially reads, "...neighbors help the tearful Mrs. Hefner away from the blazing house at 14320 Terabella St. Batt. Chief Martin Peterson said the fire apparently was caused by the fire department's biggest nemesis--a forgotten cigarette. The blaze began in the Hefner den, quickly spread to adjoining rooms of the block-constructed house."; See images #00114983 through #00114984 for all photos in this series.
