Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated May 3, 1961 partially reads, "...neighbors help the tearful Mrs. Hefner away from the blazing house at 14320 Terabella St. Batt. Chief Martin Peterson said the fire apparently was caused by the fire department's biggest nemesis--a forgotten cigarette.
