Photograph of the interior view of Bagdad mine on the 90 feet level, California, ca.1900. Wooden beams forming a box-like structure support the uneven rocky ceiling. Two men, one holding a shovel, are standing next to a cart on rails. Two more men, standing further back, are visible. Rail tracks on the lower level are visible through the wooden structure. Rocks and dust lace the wooden structure. Rocks are strewn all over the floor near the area where the men are working.
