Photograph of a view of Pine Avenue in Long Beach, looking east from Ocean Avenue, ca.1905. The two streets intersect in the foreground and Pine heads away from the viewer into the distance at center. Two sets of streetcar tracks can be seen on the road. The streets are lined with broad concrete sidewalks and large buildings. Several utility poles and many pedestrians can be seen as well. Early automobiles and horse-drawn vehicles can be seen along the side of the road. Legible signs include, from left: "National Bank of Long Beach", "Signal Hill", and "Grube's Corner".
