Photograph caption dated July 23, 1963 reads, "San Fernando Valley Bank is doing business this week in their new head office at 5400 Van Nuys Blvd., Van Nuys, following grand opening ceremonies held over the weekend. Holding giant key symbolizing the opening are Horace Heidt, honorary mayor of Van Nuys; Gilbert A. Schneiders, chief examiner, State Banking Department of California; Mae West, stage and screen personality; Don Castle, vice president, and Fred Roesch, executive vice president of the bank."
