Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the new Mission at Santa Clara, 1934. The chapel of the mission is at center and is a long, two-story adobe building with a terracotta tile roof. The façade of the mission is at left and is decorated with carvings and a statue of a missionary. A tall rectangular bell tower stands to the right of the chapel. It is also made of adobe and has a pointed roof topped by a cross. A palm tree grows next to the tower, and several small plants are visible at its base.
