Photograph of an exterior view of the observation tower of the F. M. Smith residence in Oakland, ca.1910. Trees line the driveway in the foreground which leads to the arched base of the tall observation tower. Stairs climb around the wooden tower up to the walkway just below the dome top. Trees stand over the grass yard which surrounds the tower on either side.
