Original photograph has several small stains.
Photograph caption dated June 6, 1957 reads "Cheryl Page, 13, left, A-8 student, and Ann Coughlin, 12, A-7 student at James Madison Junior High School, earned titles of, respectively, Miss Madison and Junior Miss Madison during mother-daughter banquet at school. They were selected on appearance and scholarship." The school is in North Hollywood.
