MacArthur Park, created in the 1880's under the name Westlake Park, was later renamed in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. A stone wall/fence surrounds a water area with a large fountain (on the right side). A path with benches surrounds this pond. Farther back on the left is a sail boat in the water of the main lake.
