Photograph caption dated April 16, 1956 reads "Greeting Mrs. Gladys Penland, president of California Federation of Republican Women, seated right, when she visited North Hollywood Republican Women's Club to speak on recent Washington, D.C., conference were Mmes. Cecil Kenyon, president of Southern Division of federation, and Mrs. Darcy Cage, president of Los Angeles county federation, left to right, standing, and Mrs. Edgar Ingalls, president of North Hollywood club, seated left. Mrs. Penland flew to Valley from her home in Berkeley for meeting."
