Photograph article dated June 10, 1960 partially reads, "Cowboy actor Joe Edward Phillips was jailed today after his wife of nine months was shot twice during a quarrel in their Sun Valley home. Phillips, 47, was booked last night at the North Hollywood police station on suspicion of assault with intent to commit murder. His wife, Myrna, 32, was given emergency surgery at Sun Valley Receiving Hospital and transferred to General Hospital where she was reported in serious condition today."
