Description
Photograph shows Dr. Bullitt standing in a suit. On recto: "$100,000 YWCA". On verso: "Dr Bullett "Everybody happy? Sure we are!"" The background around Dr. Bullitt's arm on the left side of the photograph is blacked out. On June 2, 1914, the Y.W.C.A. of San Jose started their 10 day building campaign with a goal to raise $100,000. They succeeded and raised $105,310 which they used to build a three story building on Second and San Antonio streets in San Jose, California. 1914-06 Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 24-bit RGB color. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
